Veale attended the Strange Loop premiere when she was seen looking like a vision in white after stepping out in a monochromatic ensemble, just as gorgeous as ever. She wore a white blazer over her shoulders, casual white cargo trousers, white trainers and a white square neck bodysuit.

Hopewell accepts contract for Shenzhen power station project

HOPEWELL Holdings managing director Gordon Wu Ying-sheung signed a letter of intent yesterday with the Shenzhen Government and the Shenzhen Energy Corporation for the construction of a US$2.3 billion (about HK$17.8 billion) coal-fired power station. Under the deal, the Hopewell Holdings' subsidiary, Consolidated Electric Power Asia (CEPA), will build four 660 megawatt units in the first phase of the new Shenzhen Eastern Power Station. CEPA shares will open for trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange tomorrow and the signing will see work start on the giant ''build, operate transfer'' (BOT) power station early next year.

Since Hong Kong lifted most of its travel restrictions last December, flights have gradually increased, and so has passenger traffic. Hong Kong International Airport handled 3.1 million passengers in May, which was 50 per cent of the level recorded in the same month of 2019. From this month, there will be fewer flights between the two financial centres since the lifting of travel curbs, amid sluggish demand. Cathay Pacific Airways’ budget arm HK Express will no longer fly its daily service to Singapore with a spokeswoman citing “commercial reasons”.
