Machine Gun Kelly is entering a new era, with a huge new half-body tattoo. The rapper, real name Colson Baker, uploaded his new ink onto his Instagram page, and as of the time of writing, it remains his only pic on the ‘gram.

The music star is definitely not a newbie to the tattoo studio, but his latest addition is his biggest one yet. But unfortunately for Machine Gun Kelly the hours of pain meant nothing to fans, who prefer his older look. However, it did gain the attention of Tiger King star, Joe Exotic.

Machine Gun Kelly debuts huge new tattoo

Taking to his Instagram, the Bloody Valentine singer posted a shirtless picture of himself showing off the new artwork, which covered his whole torso.

The black ink covers the whole of his upper body, going all the way down his arms, which were already covered in tattoo sleeves.

However, these can be seen poking through in the few gaps he has along his arm in the shape of a cross symbol across his chest, and patterned lines down his arms.

In the caption, he provided insight into what made him opt for the intriguing art, as he wrote: “for spiritual purposes only.”

It comes weeks after his partner, Megan Fox, debuted a new sleeve tattoo at the Grammy Awards viewing party.

The internet has mixed opinions on the new ink – but Joe Exotic’s loving it

Unfortunately, most of the comments on Colson’s Insta post are negative, with many saying they preferred his old tats, which are now covered.

However Joe Exotic was not one of these, as he wrote: “A tiger and a bit of m*** and you would be mine. Lol.”

Although, the majority did not agree. “Stupidest f****** thing I’ve ever seen,” said one strongly opinionated fan.

“I had an emotional attachment to those tats ngl,” a second disappointed one wrote.

“Bro sat in the tattoo chair for 763 hours,” joked one.

Another funny fan penned: “When you leave your kid unattended with the black marker…”

Others weren’t sure if it was real, or he was just ‘trolling,’ as one joked: “You lyin bro take a bath and come back!”

However, not all the comments were negative, as fellow rockstar Mod Sun wrote: “Proud of u brother, the change has been beautiful to watch.”

Another comment read: “Bro, respect. WELCOME TO THE TEAM.”
